Changing Business Culture

Organisational culture is a major driver of profitability and growth. It can also be one of the most difficult parts of business transformation to get right.

With a creative approach to problem-solving, we relish the challenge of working with leaders to define the culture that which will enable their organisations to fulfil their potential, then shaping and embedding that culture across the business.

Using our experience and intuition, we take what we know to be best practice and adjust it to be effective for a particular person or situation, devising leadership training programmes, internal processes and communication programmes.

Our aim is to find positive ways to challenge our clients in order to enable them to achieve their best, and to ensure people at every level of the organisation are informed, engaged and empowered to embrace change and adopt new ways of working.

Recent Projects:

  • Working with a building, engineering and maintenance firm to drive a culture of professionalism throughout the business.

  • We supported the senior team to define the company values and culture they needed, and to establish the behaviours required to support them. We then worked with company leaders to effectively embed these behaviours across the organisation through leadership training, a new appraisal system, incentives and a new interview process.

We work effectively with leaders to:

  • clarify the essence of their desired culture, linked to business outcomes and strategy

  • clearly articulate behaviours that support the required culture (and those that don’t!)

  • build support from within the organisation for the desired culture and meaningful behaviours

  • identify the mechanisms to embed the desired behaviours within the organisation

  • define the approach to measure culture change and ensure that the change ‘sticks’

Jane’s recent Culture and Leadership training work has already proved to be a valuable investment in our key staff. The feedback has been extremely positive and a large number of practical changes have been embedded in day to day operations. We are already planning the next phase of training courses.
